can anybody tell me waht all the VIN plate boxes mean please? I have come across a blue focus being broken on ebay and want to check the colour code.....

Thanks for that Richard, I did see it on the internet earlier but it doesn't list ocean blue as a colour. The main thing is that I know which box the code is in.......

Richard, I will contact the site and let them know. Did ford make an changes to colours? Mine is a 36 but the one on ebay is a 37, now is this just the year they are referring to or is there a slight difference in colour?

As the details say the colour is the first digit (3) and the BUILD YEAR is the second 2006 (6) & 2007 (7)

Hi Richard, I understand that, in the original post I got them the wrong way around (I know you dont have to tell me), mine is 3 7 but the car is an 06, that is what is confusing me.......Chris.
