Hi there,

I will soon take delivery of a C-Max Zetec and have a question for the experts.

The radio I get is the 6000 CD thing and Bluetooth has also been added. What I am after however is the ability to play music from a USB stick. Playing and charging my Ipod would be nice but my priority is to play music files from mystick.

Is this possible, are there any leads or easy ways to get this function?

Thanks for any advice

It has an aux-in feature that youconnect your headphone socket to with a line-in cable (has a 3.5mm male plug at each end).

I think it's only standard on titaniums, but you can buy an adapter for about 30 quid of the internet to get it working with a zetec. All you need is a headunit with "aux" written on.

Wait until it comes, or ask your Ford dealer if you need one, so you don't buy it and not need it.

This what you need: http://www.connects2.com/c2search.aspx?catID=42&manID=209&modID=967

If you type the product code into Google you'll get a list of shops that sell it.

This will help you and give you a walkthrough: http://web.mac.com/zifnab/Visteon_6000CD_in_Ford_Focus_C-Max/How_to_wire_the_Aux_input_on_A_Visteon_6000CD_in_a_C-Max.html

If you're near Birmingham I can do it for you in less than 10minutes.....
