Hi,
I am looking for a recommendation on a level 2 charger that I can install at my house for my CMax Energi (2016).
What does everyone recommend? I'd like to make sure its properly secured in some way so that the charger is not stolen. What can I do to create some sort of cabinet on the side of my house for that?

Thanks in advance!

Two years (or so) ago I purchased a Leefanev 16A Level 2 EVSE for about $175.
On a dedicated 20A circuit at 220v, or whatever it is that actually comes out of the wall, the max charge it can provide is 3.52kW, which is just a nudge over the 3.3kW capacity of the Energi's onboard charger.
Given that limit, there's no compelling reason to buy a more-powerful, more-expensive EVSE, unless you feel you need the capacity in the future.

I've been very satisfied with the charger; the build quality is excellent, the cord is heavy duty and is about 18' long, and the 'nozzle' fits the car-side plug nice and snugly, even moreso than the OEM Ford unit.

Running a 220v/20A line is probably the least expenstive circuit you can run for a L2 EVSE.
Just keep the 3.something kW charge limit in mind if/when you upgrade to a vehicle with a higher-capacity charging limit.
I personally don't need to charge-up in a matter of minutes: over-night and over-the-work-day is fine with me.
But of course, "your mileage may vary" so select what best fits your needs.

Good luck!
