Hi & welcome. Not sure if you can swap, but try www.partsgateway.co.uk
They deal in all parts for the C-Max and they are very good on price & delivery.I have had a couple of things off them & am very pleased.Good luck.
A chap at work with an 05 Zetec was all set to replace a rear seat belt and came unstuck when he didn't havea specialisttool to unbolt the fixings to the car. Ford wouldn't sell him a tool and he had trouble getting it anywhere else. Have you got a solution for this ?
Try a tool hire shop or local accessories shop. The local accessories guy by me can get almost anything,& if not he knows a friendly mechanic.Failing that I`m not sure.If I get a chance 2morow,I`ll have a look at mine and see if I can get any ideas.
Thanks for the advice.
I checked and we have a Torx toolkit in the office so hopefully this won't be an issue.
However the price I have been quoted by the online salvage for the seat belt is same as the new price from Ford. The reason for me asking if a Focus seat belt would fit is because it's currently listed on Ebay at a reasonable price.
The first correlation point would be to compare the two manufacturers approval labels fitted to the belts themselves.
If these have the same approval number then they probably are the same but do compare like for like (i.e. offside to offside)
The only prolem with rear belts fitted at angles to the vertical is how the locking ratchet mechanism operates. Belts are (can be) very tempremental when they are at the wrong angle
