Radio keycode

Hi.Could do with some help please!
The battery on my c max was replaced and the radio needed a keycode to restart it.So i checked the handbook and the previous owner had it written down.Great i thought,but the code didnt work,so after 3 attempts i have given up___No radio

.
What do i do now please?

I think also that a fealer may be able to help if you go in with both the V5 and some proof of your own identity.

All dealers seem to have all Ford vehicles by "original" registration on a database they can tap in to
