I own a 56 plate 2.0.TDCI Ghia,over the last 2 months i have had two power assist power steering failures.


Both times repaired under warranty by my local ford dealership,they have replaced the pump?
Has anybody any experience of this fault,i am getting a bit nervous with the ford model.

If it goes out of warranty it would cost in the region of£500 to rectify.

i had same problem and had rack and pump replaced its sorted now i hope
