Umm,

Aftermarket ones are not road legal, so my advice is to leave them well alone and make do with improved efficiency bulbs (the legal, standard wattagevariety) and keeping the headlights clean.

The standard lights are pretty good in my humble opinion. Miles better than the Puma I had previously anyway.

I am finding the dipped headlight beam on my 04 Cmax very disappointing. Indeed, I only feel safe driving at about 50mph on dipped beam. The full beam lights seem fine. Is there any way to 'lift' the lights in order to lengthen the beam? I could do this from inside of the car in my last motor. Am I missing something in my Cmax? Otherwise, what light bulb upgrade do people recommend that I buy to obtain a brighter light on the road, and where is the best place to buy? Thanks everyone.

There should be a small wheel by the light switch,as for bulbs I`ve put in Phillips as recommended by Autoexpress.I also changed main beam foe the same make.I think it`s H4 for dipped & H7 for main.Check their web site under products.

Thanks for that, both of you. I don't quite know how I missed the headlight adjuster now that you have pointed it out. Sometimes I think my brain ceases to function, and often for quite long periods nowadays.
