Hi folks, I'm rather new to this. At the moment I own a Meriva and am considering changing to a CMax. The Meriva is a good vehicle for me apart from the poor visibility with the corner post and quarter light. Is thisa similar problem with the CMax. Looking at the model in the local dealers there doesn't appear to be a great deal of difference.

The C-Max has pretty poor front sideways visibility due to the thick A-Pillars. I've found you can easily miss a full sized car if you don't lean forward to look past the pillars. You do get used to them after a while, but I've had a few scares when cars and bikes have appeared from nowhere.

This is not just a problem with the C-Max. A lot of mondern MPVs are the same.

Hi, I agree with Ravenger although the quartewindow can help. My wife has a 53 Scenic which doesn't have this feature but the door mirrors are further back, overall there's nothing in it either way

Thanks for the reply sorry to be so long. I guess thats what I was afraid of with the quarter light, having the same problem with the Meriva. Still the C-Max seems to have a lot more going for it.
