Hi out there!!
Have just ordered 1.6tdi Titanium with some extras.
Strange when doing the deal I was told that delivery was 4-6 weeks. Upon ordering was told 8-10 weeks because of shortage of diesel engines!! Surely everyone knows that diesel demand has mushroomed over last 4/5 years and would have been prepared!! Look forward to talkind to all you members out there.

This nearly newbie got the call from the dealerman today!! delivery expected 8thMarch 2008.17weeks!! worse than being pregnant!! only joking ladies!!

Welcome Patrick! I've had my 1.8TdCi Zetec for a month now, having waited 14 weeks. Worth the wait though and you'll get the 08 plate!

AT LONG LAST

Despite one false delivery date back in March(see above) I have finally taken delivery of my 08 CMAX Titanium 1.6tdci in Ocean Blue with rear parking,panoramic roof,keyless entry and Ford starter button.
Ordered on 31st October 2007 and delivered 20thMay 2008--day after my birthday

Was available 10 days ago but was on hols so put off delivery until today.
Car delivered to work so only driven around carpark

Will update on impressions at later stage.
