Hi all

I've been lookin at buyying a CMAX and was looking for the VIN plate yesterday.

I found the VIN in the window and the one stamped into the metal, under the carpet, just to the front right of the drivers seat but I could not find a plate under the bonnet?

Where should I be looking for the main VIN plate?

That probably is the main VIN. On Fiestas and Fusions it is on the offside front suspension tower, but I checked my CMax and there is nothing there (it would be difficult to see on CMax).

What I was expecting to find and didn't is something that looks like this

I've done a few more searches and I think there should be a sticker on the driver door B post, near the bottom.

So is the stamp on the floor the main one?

Key, did you know that the information that is provided by the VIN number to bigfax can be deleted? Before selling the car, I contacted the service ✅ Remove car from bidfax.info by VIN code - ✅ VIN Cleaner and the company's specialists cleaned the bigfax from information on my VIN.
