Hello and thnx!
Bought the car in Februari of this year.
Previous was a hatch with 200000 miles (approx) witch needed replacement.
Had plans to start a family (and in progress! gonna be a daddy!
)
One test drive with a c-max had me convinsed that was the car for me!
But although it was a year younger than the one I bought it was
already well ridden, the 1.6 (109) diesel wasn't to shaggy eather.
Than I found this beauty!
Except for the white xenon look-a-likes (the fake ones
) I haven't modified anything else
but placed other rims. Found them on the net. Are 17" so there still comfortable and 8,5"J so they look wide and feel wide too, cause riding is yet a bit more sporty!
This car is everything in one! It's a family car, it's a luxury car, it's a sporty handling car and with the 2.0tdci (witch I think is also chipped) it's fast too!
Just love the ride!!

Since my last post to this thread, I've done several mods (some of them even have already been rewinded)
- Headlights been fitted with HID 4,3K and replaced again with normal bulbs.
- Interior lights replaced with LED
- Numberplate lights replaced with LED
- Mirror side lights replaced with LED
- Trunk light adapted to fit a P21/9 LED bulb I had in spare for real illumination.
- Interior rear seat side lights modded to come on with '(un)lock' 'open door'.
- Cleaned the backside (badges removed)
- Chiptuning (OBD) to 157bhp and 409Nm (301lbs) and ugraded the brakes (EBC)
- Placed a K&N airfilter
- Bought OBD scantool and software and perform maintenance myself
- Cleaned (blocked and deblocked) EGR valve
- Bought set contiwintercontact on 16" steel
- Connected the roofmounted dvd to front aux in for audio controle by driver and sound trough car speakers.
- Replaced the FWD (handsfree unit) nokia socket with a fitting bluetooth adapter, so use ofthehandsfree unit is no longer make and model bonded.
- Replaced the rear wiper with a flatblade. Know about the C2 swap but I find the original wiperarm and a flatblade more raw.
- Seem to forget some stuff, but I'll add it when it comes back to mind.

Mods planned:
- Reverse camera with additional LCD (where the backseat mirror is)
- Front bumper (or somewhere, haven't decided) camera for looped recording (cause I'm sick of people thinking they own the road and can do wathever they want) to back me up, if something ever goes wrong.
- Rear seat dvd player upgrade with usb and sd card slot and (upgradable) various format support.
- Looking for a shorter antenna but with absolutely no quality loss.
- DRL, but don't know what type or where yet.
- Whatever else comes to mind..

Thanks! It's driving even better!

I'll take my time with the mods.
Prefer them to be at their bestand I find the search and planning to be as much fun
as doing the mod itself and enjoying the result.
But they're on their way!

The reverse camera and Lcd are in place (more to find in an other topic)and I've done part the wiring for the usb player.Still have to figure out what to do in terms of DRL. Have bought myself some led strips (no good), some Led bars (too halfords in by book) and havemoldedover some other options but I just can't figure it out.For now, the mods will come to an end.The C-max is going to be my wife's car for (hopefully) a couple of years. Her company car had to be turned in (economics excuse) but there's a financial compensation. I've had my eye on a S-max for a while now, and even a Peugeot 5008 has been on the table for a while (all used, I never buy new cars). In my search I stumbleduponanother option, so yesterday I transfered an advance (had a buyers option since the weekend) on a Ford F150
.Will keep poppin' in from time to time...seeya.

So, if any Belgian (importers also welcome of course) members are interested, our C-max is for sale.

Sold.Bought the wife my boss's Altea FR.I liked the handling of the C-max way better but this tuned Seat goes like the stinkers! So now I have a 5.4l V8 and 300hp and am faster when driving the wife's 2liter diesel!!
Better get my hands on a supercharger, fast!
Might stick a comment to the 'good/bad' topic if time will let me.I'm sure being an ex-owner will draw a more objective picture, althoughthe big picture willalways tell I had great passion for my C-max.This topic may be closed.
