Nothing too scary,don`t bet the pads from Ford though.If you have an independant soares shop near you try them but also get a price from Halfords.You could also try

They do some good deals & if you want some Very good pads get Green Stuff pads.These are a bit more expensive,but lastages and don`t `fade` after heavy use.They also leave less brake dust on your wheels.

I am using the EBC Green stuff pads and discs on both front and back they are great. They stop the car so quickly and with great confidences. I really tested them on Monday. :-D Mine do produce a lot of dust though, but as long as the car is good at stopping that is all that matters.

You will need what Ford would describe as a 'special tool' which is no more than a 7mm allen key. The size is a little unsual but will normally come in a socket drive set. Otherwise you can get the standard cranked allen key with long handle in 7mm from somewhere like Halfords.
