given all the challenges that Chevy Bolts have been having with their battery packs (https://www.yahoo.com/autos/gm-wont-repair-recalled-chevy-123900179.html), are there any steps that Ford is recommending for their plug-in hybrids/pure EV cars with regards to charging or other?

I recently purchased a used 2015 C-Max Energi Plug-in

Thank you.
Don't worry - different world ; C-max is with Leaf - battery is DRY ; Under "thermal management" it will say "forced air" ; No liquid around electricity - top of my list - all the liquid peeps are idiots in my book ;
Ford manual is light on promised "care of high voltage battery" ; It is li-ion ; keep SOC 40 TO 80% ; do not charge to 100% and let sit going in to warming ambient ; Figure and charge up high to complete just before leaving out which will use it down ;

if you're in the market for a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), you're spoiled for choice these days. As more and more manufacturers add the option of this arguably eco-friendly drivetrain to their model lineups, there is a plug-in hybrid for just about every need. Whether you’re searching for an ford, saloon, estate or hatchback, you can find almost anything.
