Hi, today I fitted rear pads to my 2.0 TDCi Ghia with electric parking brake and now the brake pedal travels much further down before the car starts braking, and it's not the usuaul cause of bedding in. Does anyone know the reason for this. I suspect it has something to do with the electric parking brake, I have been told there is a certain sequence you must follow when fitting rear pads with electric hand brake involving the emergency brake under the centre console but so far no one can tell me what the sequence is. I would be very grateful for any advice as it's doing my head in.

hello

Your problem is that inside the circuit there is air bubbles.
Probably during the time you try to press back your piston rake you turn it totheopposite direction and you put some air inside the circuit.
Just bleed out the air
