Yesterday I fitted Philips X-treme power 80+ headlight bulbs to my c-max and they are very good. Definitely a lot brighter then the standard ones.

The standard bulbs gave off a yellow ish light but these give off a white light, not quite the same as properxenon lights but very close, and not bad for £23 delivered.

Mods done on mine so far is to replace all the internal lights with white LEDS. So much better than the standard ones.
Next is to replace the ones under the wing mirrors with white leds as well and then replace the stereo system with something better!

that sounds interesting any advice on how do you go about changing them bulbs-is there much wiring involved.. changed my stereo to the sony 6 cd (the black glass look)
All the leds are direct replacement for the bulbs.
Yes they cost more but "should" last alot longer and of course are brighter!
if you look at this item on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=360092679825these are the ones I have fitted front and rear while the reading lights are differant.
Try Ultraleds.co.uk for the reading lights.

As for the Stereo, the one you got is the one I'm after

I have the Sony 6 discstereo fitted in mine.... Bl00dy good unit and the sound quality is awesome and on the up side its so easy to use.

It also has the voice activated bluetooth kit which is linked through the stereo. Its really easy to use (I didn't even read the manual) and the quality of sound when talking to someone is great too.
because it has a decent microphone and uses the stereo speakers.

I think I'll be investing in some of the LEDs for mine as well as the yellowish glow from the standard ones just aren't right.....
