As far as I can make out they've taken off the EPB (Electronic Parking
Brake) and the Cruise Control(!). But upgraded the stereo to Sony on
the 'Tit'.



Doesn't look a good deal to me compared to my 'Focus' C-Max Ghia.



What's that about HID front lamps? Are they as good as Zenons or is that another 'pay for' upgrade?

Ive owned the new Ghia Flexifuel for about a month and 1200 kilometer (750 miles). Its my first Ford so I cant compare, but so far I love it! The handling is great, much better then I thought it would be. Finish and comfort is great too. I also like the glass roof and all the neat comfort lamps thats seeems to be everywhere! "Welcome home light" is the best!

The EPB is gone but the Cruise Controll is still there.

Whats the Flexifuel mean ? Is it a hybrid car ?

Looks like they are bio-ethanol fueled and seem to be very popular in Sweden.

just became owner of new c-max zetec auto on motability very pleased with it so far brake pedal feels a bit soft till just before you stop then it bites hard either to much assistance or needs harder pads .autobox one of the best i have driven in37 years

Finally saw a new C-Max in the parking outside my local stealers. A
customer car so I couldn't actually get in or talk to the owner.



Quite like the new logo. The new door arm rests look reasonably good dunno what they feel like.



I was also finally able to look at the new C-Max brochure but there was
only ONE in the entire dealers showrooms, and that was hoarded by the
Motability salesman!



Has anyone else noticed that the track has been increased on the
mk2,(?) although no-one in the stealers could tell me by how much...



I maintain my opinion that the EPG and the cruise control becoming
'options' (ie money required) with only a Sony stereo and LED side
lights and the new 'corporate' dash board and nose trim to balance the
equation there is a serious rip off going on. Same price for far far
less functionallity.

Hi all, Trackhas been increased by 5mm according to some web reviews I've seen, presumably that is front and rear.

Hi,

I purchased a 'new CMAX' from my local dealer, placing the order at start of September 2007. The car arrived after 8 weeks, following the predicted delay.

This is my first Ford, and I am pleased with it; I have the 1.8 petrol, Zetec spec, and have so far done 3300 miles.

Overall, I would say the cabin is quite noisy (but that comes from having a large cabin interior), but ride is good, performance and handling seem fine, and so far, nothing has gone wrong, and nothing has fallen off it! Economy is lower than 'quoted', and I don't drive hard. Our kids enjoy the better view than previous vehicle offered.

The only complaint I have is that the wheels are missing their central 'Ford' caps, which are a unique size to the wheels on the current Zetec range. The dealer is still trying to locate some that fit the wheels.

Does anyone know what the Flexible seat system option is and with regards to the economy on the 1.8, what sort of mpg are you getting around town, on a run?

Hi, Flexible Seat is the new name for the Comfort Seat as fitted to the Focus C-Max. The cushions and frames are set up so that the centre seat part can be released from the front of the centre seat squab and lifted up, so that the squab hinges up and slides backwards, into the boot.Then the outer two seats can be slid both back and towards the centre of the car making a seriously roomy 4-seater, at the expense of some boot space. To be brutally honest, I'm 6'2" and can fit in the back quite well without moving the seat back. I had this on my previous 1.8TdCi Zetec(it was standard) but didn't think it was worth paying extra for on its replacement car. Hope this helps, Mike

Hi to you all , My name is Aggie and i have just got my brand new car which is the brand new c max 1.8 Zetec in vision blue. its really looks cool with the darken rear windows. the dash board looks really nice and sporty. its even tells you how many miles you have left in the tankof petrol.
Plenty of space inside , plus all thoselilltle extra storage places in side.
i also love the classy lights back and front.
iam so happy
