Do you have a remote control or just the ordinary key

Does anything happen if you use the key in the drivers door lock

If you turn it twice to the right do you get the indicators to flash to show it is deadlocked

If you then turn it to the left do any lights flash

Hi ,
If the link attaching the lock mechanism to the lock is broken and the remote wont work not sure how to fix other than drill out the whole lock manually pull link with pliers then buy new lock and fit. Not the easiest of jobs. You could also try to remove the inside door trim then undo the glass bolts this enables the window to be rotated and pulled out then remove inside panel and activate link from the inside. I did the second one when the link popped out of the lock but i was able to open the door and remove the trim normally. Hope this helped and good luck.

Do you know if the remote fob is actually programmed to work with the locks on that car? I can't just remember the procedure to reprogramme itbut it has been posted here not that long ago

When you put the key in the drivers door lock does it feel as thoughthe tumblers are all moving or does it feel as ifit is seized or worse that the door lock is not to that key pattern

I'm presuming that it was bought privately rather than from any reputable dealer
