This was fitted to my 2.0 TDCI 53 plate when I got it last year.It had been fitted about 6 months before I got car.Within 2 months it caused major electrical problems ending up having to get Ford to take it out £120.It also caused problems with alternator & I had to replace that, but not by Ford who quoted £400 inc fitting, got it done by alocal garage where it has always been serviced for £200 inc fit.
I don`t know if the bluetooth was wired correctly but it was definately the Ford one & fitted by Chambers Ford.I won`t be getting another.

Ours had a Nokia handfree system installed and I must say it is very good.

All installed with the bracket to the left of the radio but not screwed on the dashboard and the radio mutes when the phone is in use. So good was the system, that I bought a 6230 from ebay and that now stays in the car now!

I found this link that will you show you what it looks like:

Hi,

I just bought a C Max yesterday but I did not get the bluetooth booklet so I have no idea what commands to use the voice control.

Can someone please tell me the basic commands that can be used for the aircon, Radio & phone

thanks

Hit the Voice button on the top of the audio control stalk, this will make the car listen. You can say 'Phone', 'Climate','Radio' or'CD'. Your car must have Climate Control - not Manual Aircon for the voice control to work on it.

If you are ever unsure what your options are, make the car listen, then say 'Help' and it will tell you what you can say.

'Phone' <function please> 'Dial number' <number please> 'zero one nine two four'. Make sure you say zero as it doesn't understand 'oh' or 'nought'.

Breif overview but with these hints you should be able to muddle your way through. Contact your dealer, he'll be able to order one for you at no cost.

The Bluetooth® with Voice Control system allows you to operate your
mobile, satellite navigation system, climate control and audio system
using voice-activated commands – all wirelessly. It's not only safer,
leaving you free to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the
wheel, but it also means you're keeping within the law while still
staying in touch
