Hi All,



I have a 1.8 c-max (07 plate). Really impressed with the car but
one slight issue: If the blower is on the, A/C comes on
automatically without me pressing the button. Is this normal?

Not knowing much about the C-Max having just bought one yesterday, but in all the cars that I have owned, the AC comes on automatically until you press the off button.
Personally I think that this is normal.

If I remember correctly the air conn comes on automatically only if the direction control or it may be the temperature are in a particular setting.

Note you should actually run the air conn for about ½ hour a month just to keep everything working OK

Yep all fords are the same if blower is on when you start the car ac will come on .one way to get over it is to set the direction to windscreen and side vents and not to windscreen only .you can then leave the blower on when you start the car and ac wont come on.
