Hi,
the air bag warning light on my 04 Focus C-max (2.0 Diesel Zetec) is illuminated. It comes on with the ignition, then goes out, then comes back on again. Garage have measured the resistance and found 2.5 on the passanger side and 5 on the drivers side. Is this likely to be just a bad connection somewhere, and if so where - under the seat or in the steering column? Turning the passenger air bag off doesn't solve the problem suggesting the problem is on the drivers side.

Any suggestions very gratefully received.

More info: Fault code B1932, air bag ignition circuit 1, drivers side resistance too high

It probably means a trip to somewhere that can both check the electrics of the air bag itself and that also has the substitute components so as to be able to check the whole system

unfortunate;y i suspect this may be a dealer as they should also have the relevent specifications to check against
