Can anybody advise if they have added Rear Parking sensors on C-Max Zetec (05)?

Know that this is possible using a universal unit from ebay however wanted to know if anybody had gone down this route.

Hi not yet just about to do it for the front and the back. Only difference is i will wire a switch to dash to turn on fronts manually. I will be buying 2 sets i think rather than a universal set with front and back sensors.

Yeah!

I did it a couple of weekends ago on my wifes 55 plate Cmax. Used a kit from ebay (link below)

Took less than an hour to install and works great! installed them in the black plastic bit of the rear bumper and used the supplied collars to make sure they sat straight.

Then removed the gromit above the exhaust and ran the cables upto behind the top interior trim pannel.

If i get a chance i will take some pics and post them here later.

I'd like to do the same, it doesn;t sound very difficult.

So you've installed the sensors in the plastic trim underneath the body colured bumer right?
Also did you have to fully remove this trim or did you drill the holes while the trim was still attached to the car?
