hi guys...ever since having the c max we've never been able to reset anything via the trip computer switch thingy...

(the stalk with various functions to scroll through)..bought a brand new replacement and swapped it over but still no dice...we can scroll through the various functions ie.distance, trip computer etc but it won't let us reset anything..??

annoying cos it doesn't work and also cos i'm in the habit of resetting the trip computer when fueling car up..?
any ideas anyone..? or know anyone in the middlesex area that know the electrics of these cars..?

On mine, you reset by simply pushing in the button on the end of the stalk and holding for a second or two.

have tried pressing and holding for anything up to 10 seconds but no luck...
