Moaning Myrtle on the Road, not in the Bathroom

The following occurs after the gas engine has reached operating temperature. Ay that point whenever the gas engine is on whether by itself or in tandem with the electric motor I can hear a moan, a hum, almost like a distant fog horn. When the electric motor is powering the car solo, by itself, this sound ceases abruptly. I believe this sound has been there all along, but it seems appreciable LOUDER than it was. I can hear it clearly going 50 mph or more. The car has only 28K miles on it.

Has anyone else had these symptoms? If I had to guess it sound like some electrical box under the hood. I'd appreciate any other thoughts.

Thanks. Reply here of send me any e-mail: [email protected]
