QHC [QUOTE=green in;70033]Hello
Is anyone experiencing this weird happening?
While driving slowly between 15-20 mph on asphalt hwy roads the car if it goes over a large hole in the road or a tree root that has lifted up the road, the car seems to shift forward and is accompanied by a noise.
Very unsettling seems like the whole car goes forward on its own.
I have tried to re- create the problem by going over the same area's where it happened but I can not re-create it. I don't know if I was slowly braking before going over the rough road or I think on one time I had no foot on the gas or brake. Regardless its a mystery to me. The two dealerships I asked had not heard of this coming into their service.
This is a random act and has occurred 4 times so far in driving it since new in 2013.
Please respond if you have an awareness, know where to check on mechanical, or just your thought on this.
Thank you[/QUOTE

I know this is an old thread, but yes I've had that happen. It happens when you are breaking moderately. My dealership said they thought it was the ABS kicking in over the bump. All I know is that if you have a bump where it's happened to you and you break pretty hard while going over the bump it'll do it almost every time.
