lucas1787 Its the worst car I have ever brought and I have been driving for 25yrs. Had mine for just over 2yrs and has been in the garage more than any car I have ever owned. Now I have paid the loan off I will be getting rid of it,this forum has been the best though and has a lot of good people who can help out. This is also my view on the cmax, others have had no problems. Best of luck in your purchase!!

Richard G Apart from a front spring change for the last MOT our same plate and model has given nearly 5 years of no obvious problems doing about 12K per year

springer1 HiI'm just in the process of buying a 54 plate C max 1.6TDCi LX but having read some reviews am now wondering if I have made a really big mistake. Has anyone had good experiences of owning one? Is there anything I need to be aware of ? Its done about 53k miles.
I'm hoping to be reassured that I should go ahead with the purchase!!
