hairy frog Iv got the 1.6 tdci and iv only done 317 mile in it and I'm getting around 40 to 45mpg around town I haven't tried it on the motorway yet. Noise what noise it's lovely and quite.

gregtheegg No is the answer to that, the last Ford I bought was in 1973 the service was awful in those days so it did take a huge leap to commit to this Ford, I am very pleased with the Service and the car so far. Although disappointed that the UK version is minus Daylight Running Lights. From that point of view the car seems dated without them.

mosh How about sound (noise) of thedieselengine, can you hear from inside of the car?

gregtheegg 58mpg on the motorway at 58/60MPH.

Using around Kent bothtown and Country 45mpg without too much trying. The mileage is now 4200miles on the clock seems to get better as the engine loosens up.

Bluenose See here from an earlier post of mine in Good & Bad - I have a 1.6 tdci (115BHP) C Max Titanium

is registering an average of 44.8 mpg. For the long run of 240 miles I
used the AC sparingly, never exceeded a speed limit and used the cruise
control in 6th to maintain 70mph as much as possible. This still comes
nowhere near Ford's advertised figures of 61.4 MPG combined or extra
urban 68.9 and urban 52.3.
