R7BKR Steve,
I'm with you on that one.

I have loads of photos of my C-Max and RS2000 in photobucket, but all my personal photos are safely stored on my laptop and backed up on CD.

lawe The quick answer to that is no.
You need to upload the photo so the forum can see it.
If the forum had it's own photo section that you could link to it.
Photobucket is ok for these forums and I use it for all my hosting but not for my personal and treasured photo's!

Richard G But does this work with an image from your own computer rather than from the likes of photobucket (which I wanted to avoid having to use if possible)

R7BKR Using the BBcodes I am sure you can do it like this

Using the Square bracket [ ]typethe word IMG between the open and close brackets, enter the link to the imagine. thenat the endof the link you have to add the square brackets again with /IMG in between them

I put this between the IMG code and hey presto..... there you go.

I hope this is what you were after.

NOTE
You have to have "Enable BBcodes to format post" ticked (at the end of the reply/post window. )Edited by: R7BKR

Richard G Did we ever get any further with this Dan?

I think you were going to see if the software could be manipulated to achieve but I don't remember seeing any reply either way

Thanks
