Willow I don't think it's stupid at all. I said an earlier post that I miss my C-Max, for me it's been five weeks since she was sold and I can't begin tell you how much I miss it. At some point in the future (not too distant I hope) I will get another one. My daughter cried buckets when I told her that it was going!!

cmaxman hmmm that there leads on to a new topic!! is the cmax a mans car or a womens?? I would say def a blokes type of car, its almost like owning a minitransit van, but with better performance??!! (apart from the ford supervans 1,2 and 3!!!)

cmaxman my last car was a 500 rover 400 1.4i, which did the job, but my cmax is way better (no surpirse there!) I did however use to own a nice Mk5 Cortina GL (my first ever car!) which i don't think any new car will ever beat, mainly because it was so easy to look after, and was just cool, and not the same boring shapes of cars you see on the roads these days!

Willow Hi Everyone.

(Im going to be throttled for this!) For me it's the other way round, what I miss about the C-Max verses my new car!! I changed my car about a month ago, I think it was the biggest mistake ever. I couldn't afford to keep her on the road so I had change for something smaller, I really wish I hadn't. I miss the power rear windows, the Sony CD player, self dipping rear view mirror, the 2.0 litre petrol engine, the space, everthing basically. And she was an Ultima too.The new car, if anyone would like to know is a 1.4 TDCi all new Fiesta. 170 verses 35 !!! I don't like it.

lazyb Last car was a Ford Galaxy 1.9 tdi auto lovely car and we miss the space but 25mpg around town was a killer also used to roll around the corners like mad. Cmax is better for handling and 35 mpg around town is great.

Richard G I;ve just looked at the wiring for the heated screen and the left and right are on seperate fuses though on the same relay
The fuses are in the battery junction box and i wonder if the one fuse gets damp and doesn't make properly

With a voltage tester it ought to be possible to check for voltage at both sides of the fuse
