Hi all,
Just found this site recently. I've owned my 1.6TDCI Titanium since Dec 2008 when I bought new.
I've done almost 40K miles and find it a very comfortable and quite efficient car to own. MPG is averaging around 46 with a mixture of motorway & slower driving.
I had a few problems at the start with water ingress into the front passenger footwell but this was sorted under warranty (eventually).
It's the first Ford I have owned, having had mainly Japanese cars in the past. Build quality is generally good apart from the rear parcel shelf. It may as well be made of carpet. It's useless.
It's good to know that there is a lively forum out there and I look forward to watching and contributing in the future.
BillyB.

Hi Billy welcome to the club.
Nice to hear your pleaded with your Max.
I totally agree about the rear shelf, shame there is no way to retro fit a decent one.
