Hi all, I've got a 04 zetec 1.6 tdci in tango over a year now,
Great family car.
I'm looking to get a roof box for the holliers but not sure what type of rails/bars to get.
(I'm assuming all boxes fit the same type rails/bars )
looked in Halfords & they have 2 types - any suggestions?
Cheers

It's the feet that are the C-Max specific item as they have to fit into the holes in the roof
There is a specific ford one and Thule do one as well

If it's going under a roof box then you won't need the aero shape

I agree with above. If you go to thule.co.uk, it has a roof rack guide, where you select the car you want it for and it indicates the appropriate unit.I currently have a fixpoint system, which is childs play to fit. Basically, you remove the inserts in the roof strips, insert the appropriately set roof bars assemblies and bolt to the car. Very quick and simple. Easier then the trad method, where the clamps attached around the roof/door frame.
Best of luck

I have the Mont Blanc 401N with K47 fitting kit for my roofbox - you can get them fairly cheap on the net
