Hi All

Just joined, picking up a 2004 1.6 TDCi Auto in Dark Blue from Car Supermarket on Wednesday. 46k mileage.

Gonna be needed as the missus is carrying twins (due in 3 weeks)

Just wanted to know a quick one. I got the back seats to fold down when we went on our test drive, but can I lift them up at the base after folding to create more boot space when not in use? Seems to have a bar/handle to do this but wasn't obvious if it was possible.

Cheers

Hi, Welcome to the Club and Congratulations on the twins!
The rear seats do lift up, fold seat back down as you`ve discovered, then look at the seat base at the rear of the seat, grab/lift bar and seat will pivot forwards, there is a bungee style strap to hold them up( connects to front seat headrest post ), or you can remove them altogether if you want.
If in doubt, ask the sales person upon collecting the car.
