Hi all.
Just picked up a 55 plate 1.8 tdci ghia for the missus tonight.
Nice car but she's stuggling with judging the front end when parking.
Is it worth fitting the ford pdc or would aftermarket stuff be as good?
Also is it possible to get some kind of build/spec sheet with the cars fitted options as we don't have one?
Cheers,
Daz.

Hi There. Go to this page on the Ford Etis website http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do and put in your reg number. Your cars build details should come up.
Aftermarket parking sensor kits are available quite cheaply on ebay and I think they should serve your purpose admirably.

Regards Colin

Thanks for the link Colin.
Some useful info there but it doesn't list which options, if any were specified.

Not a great start to ownership today as it's decided to leak diesel all over the floor from somewhere in the engine bay!

Sorry to hear about the leak. Bummer! Hope you get it sorted. For full details, click on the "vehicle" tab. enter your reg number, and when it comes up on the right hand side of the page, you can expand the "minor features" dialogue by clicking on the little blue arrow on the right. This should then list all the options your car was built with. It does with mine. (mostly without!)

Leak sorted! Took it back to the garage and they said a 'pipe' had come loose?
Tightened it up and told us to see how it goes and if it leaks again they may have to order some parts.
Doesn't inspire confidence!
Sorry to be a pain but when the vehicle details come up on the right there is no blue arrow or minor features showing? Any ideas?
