New to forums, lots of good info in here! Had my Zetec 1.6tdci 90 3 years, was 6 months old when bought.Car been great if not a little under powered and thirsty(doesn't like runs of under 12 miles), even morethirstywith full load or bikes on roof! Done Plenty of Scotland to Mid France trips in one sitting(1k)in her and she eats the miles, only wish cruise control fitted!Hope to enjoy being part of the C-Maxcommunity!

Hi & welcome to the site.Nice to hear you enjoy your Max .
My 2.0TDCI does not like short trips but it`s got no choice.Still,I`m getting about 42/45 just doing this & it`s great on runs.Had 70mpg on way back from Devon, fully laden & with a/c going too,Stuck at 70 mph & it paid us back by only using 2 1/2 gallons .
Cheers
MM
