Hi everyone

I am james from sunny Scotland!

Just bought myself a 56 (2007) 2.0 Zetec with 11,800 miles on her.. for the IMHO decent price of 5250
Feeling pretty happy with it as despite being a 4 and a bit year old car it drives and looks like it's just rolled off the line.

This is my first Ford for a few years as i have been into my Saabs for the last while, i was once a ford man though and had my fair share of Scorpios back in ye olde days! lol

Anyways glad to have found you and hope i can both share and recieve knowledge with you all over my ownership

Amen to that.. i've just never been able to be sold over onto diesel... i've had a few in my days but just cant help but hate the sound of them.

Do you think that i got the car for a decent price.. i wasn't really clued up on second hand prices and originally wen to the dealer to buy a 2001 Audi A8 lol.. as soon as i saw the mileage i changed plans PDQ!

We got the devils own fuel motor in our Max mainly for the mpg.To be fair it`s not that noisy, just a shame you can`t really rev the buggers guts out.I do have an Audi RS6 Avant (V10) but this is being replaced by a RS3 (5 cylinder) & a 4.0 V8 Range Rover Classic to make up for it though.
I think you paid a fair price for your Max & by the sound of it you got a decent one at that too.
