Hi all, just found the C/Max owners forum and thought I would join, reasons being that I have just had to change a rear light bulb and could not beleive what a palava it was and to top it all I dropped the wing nut into the side panel but apart from that what a great car and a great drive to boot.I am not sure what to do next but hopefully someone out there will let me know.Terry.

Hi Terry & welcome to the club,If you can get a magnet on a line, you may be able to retrieve nut (if it`s magnetised),other wise best to buy a replacement. What model/year/engine do you have?

Hi Mike,Thanks for the greetings, the wing nut unfortunately is plastic with an internal thread of which is fine metal and I do not think a magnet will pick it up so I will buy another. The model I have is an 04 Ghia with a 2ltr engine, I bought it new when I lived in Spain so I beleive it was built in Valencia but not 100% sure.Terry.

Hi Terry,
Just scanning through the latest on the club site when I read about your lost wing nut. If you can see it, try a piece of “bluetac” on the end of some wire or a stick, it should work like a magnet.
