Hi Welcome to the club, seems like the 2.0 Tdci is a popular choice. Dont forget to put your car details in your signature box found in the members control panel, sounds like you have a very nice car there.

Thanks, we found the 1.6 diesels to be too confusing for tax n mpg, the 1.8's rarer than both the 1.6 and the 2.0 and the 2.0 returned a decent mpg and tax isn't too bad either so went for that.

Sig done

Hmm, interesting. Could I ask why or how you found the 1.6 diesel's tax and MPG figures confusing? I find all of these figures confusing myself , but wondered why you picked out the 1.6 diesel in particular?

the most important thing was mpg and tax but with the 1.6 TDCi there seems to be 2X 90ps models and 2X 110ps models with different mpg and tax, some good and some pretty terrible compared to a so called 'thirsty' 2.0, but its not as bad as 1 of the 1.6's i thought. Garages you look to buy from and private sellers aren't able to fully explain or prove which of there car is and which tax n mpg there car falls into so we stopped looking at 1.6 TDCi's.

The V5 will give the necessary CO2 figure which is what the VED goes by
