I'm about to buy a 53 reg c max 1.6 zetec with 98k on the clock, the car is absolutely Mint in contition but the management light is on and orange (not flashing) and the key fob isn't working only the key. Except for that the car drove well on a test drive. Do I buy it or do I run to the hills?

What car do you have? If the car is a 1.6 petrol then it's done too many miles, IMO. I bought my 54 plate for 4500 and 15,000 miles on the clock. If it's a diesel then worth thinking about if it's cheap and you have paperwork to prove it's been well and regularly serviced. Otherwise, I quite agree with JonV's advice. OK fella .
