Greetings Fellow C-Max Owners. I Have Had My New 091.6 Zetec C-Max For Exactly 1 Month, And I Am Well Pleased With It, I've Never Felt So Relaxed Driving it.

Regards

Hello Carpy1, and welcome. I motored around the Welsh mountains a few years ago. Really beautiful roads and no traffic. Is you Cmax petrol or diesel?

Hi, Thankyou For Your Reply, My C-Max Is Petrol. I Live Right On The Edge Of The Brecon Beacons. It's A spectacular Place To Live. I Live About 3 miles From Craig-y-Nos, Madame Patti's Country Residence. There Was A Rumour Many Years Ago That The Prince Of Wales(Queen Victoria's Son)Was Having An Affair With Her, He Used To Travel There In Disguise.

Disguised as what? He was by far the best known face in the country. 'Hello, you're the Prince of Wales'. 'No I'm not, you impudent fellow'. 'Well, you certainly look like him'. 'No I do not. If you look carefully you will see I look like a beer barrel on a dray pulled by zwei sturdy cart horses'. 'No, actually you look like you do in the papers, an overbearing, overweight, arrogant German wearing a grey beard with a cigar sticking out of it, surrounded by an enormous tweed suit with matching cape and hat. You are also driving a very large roller with two plainclothed policemen in the back'. 'Out of my way, peasant, or they'll shoot'.

Mine's also a 1.6 petrol. How do you find it goes in the hills?

Judging by my 1.8 petrol you'ld be quicker pushing it up.

I'm sure my 1.6diesel is faster.....

I keep saying that the 1.6 TDCI was the best bet overall
Since I've done the rear brakes and cleaned the dust / rust off the edge of the disc it seems to roll a lot more easily than it did. Will need to see what the next MPG figures are
