Hi there and welcome,
we've got a 9 year old, a 1 year old and a new born and they all fit nicely. Might struggle wen they get older though!
All in all the cmax is a great family car

Can the newborn or 1yr sit in the middle of the back seats?

To be honest we've never tried putting the baby seats in the middle, it's just easier wen putting them in and out of the car to have them on the ends,
But Havin read the feedback on the forum it looks as though a child seat will securely fit in the middle, so happy days!

yes you can fit them all in a c-max, and my phil and teds fit straight in the boot because of the height of the c-max, a perfect family car, i hope you found one!

Can you fit the Phil and teds straight in without folding?
