Hi all just an introduction of myself. I've had my C-max now for a year, and I have to say it's been brilliant. Great fuel economy, 56 mpg on a run to County Durham and back. Plenty of umph when I need it. Plenty of space for all the things I never knew I needed space for. A great driving position. especially now I'm advancing in years, it's such a relief not having struggle in and out of the car. Anyway that's me for now, I have a question I'll post in the relevant section if I can't find the answer in the forums.

hello im new here too !! so hello ! i have bought my cmax a week ago and i love it ! only problem with mine is that you cant turn the passenger airbag off ! as it has parking sensors that i find annoying ! My son would sometimes sit in the front seat of my old car if a friend was coming to tea so now its a problem ! not sure how much it would cost to have a button fitted or if it can be done ! oh well im not sure if my son can sit in the front when the airbag is on hes 150cm 's cant seem to find the safety rules anywhere ! I even phoned the local police station and they didnt know ! oh well hello everyone !!

HI and a warm welcome

Just had a google (sounds painful when we say it!) and found this:

Hope this helps.

Hi I am new too. Have owned my C-Max Zetec 2.0 TDCIfor nearly 5 years and very pleased with it. Had usual problems with alternator, battery and tailgate strutsbut apart from those it has been a great car! Have now discovered that engine shield under front grill is loose , any suggestions as to how to fix this?
