My name is djchubs and I am a newby!

They say the hardest part is admitting it, thats the first step over.

I have just bought an 06 plate 2.0tdci ghia with heated leather, satnav, xenon lights etc.

I am quite happy with it. Just been on a 200 mile journey, got 48MPG performs well on both motorway and country lanes etc.

I am comparing it with my saab 9-3 150BHP TIDThe saab was much better on the fuel around 55mpg for the same journey.

I thin it probably beets it away from the post, is happier on country lanes as the saab didnt like hills or any speed under the legal limit!

Plus I can get in and out without being a contrtionist and the C-max has a fantastic sound system (that in the saab is extremely poor).

Had a couple of problems with the C-max, the radio, bluetooth, satnav, cd did not work and Stratstone had to take it to Arnold Clark ford for them to plug in there computers and reset it. Hope this is not a regular event.

Also I had to brake hard today at around 60mph and the car juddered like the discs are warped.

Be happy for any info from any member if they have had the same problems.

Also the sliding cover over the 12v socket in the centre consile will not stay shut, anyone know how to fix this?

Look forward to hearing from anybody.

Hi, Welcome to the Club!
The Bluetooth thing needs a reset once in a blue moon.
In fairness to your Discs, if pattern parts, the materials aren't quite up to the quality of Motorcraft, or the might just be simply bo!!oxed!
I assume the Sat-nav system uses the same speakers as the MK1 Sony Stereos, they do sound good!!
