Hi Guys

I am desparately seeking help. I have a Ford C Max 1.8 TDCI Ghia X - 38k on clock 2006 reg. My insurance company have said its a write off due to flood damage and have offered me a ridiculous price for it. I am looking for comparables for the above so I will be in a position to buy the same spec car. Thanks for reading. Karen.

I would get valuations of your car from as many online sources as possible even webuyanycar.com might have to pay a few quid for the more respected companies then go back to your insurance company and ask for a better valuation in view of your findings.

Good luck Ed

Sorry forgot to say you want a valuation as it was before the flood damage.

You might have to change the year details - anything else, costs you to join up.

Good Luck

was it engine damage or FLOOD damage ie inside car,at that year the insurance company should fit a new engine if that is the problem, was it fresh water or salt water? if salt let them have it when you have agreed price (in writing) between 5.5 k and 7k
hope it helps Ken
