I have been driving a 2006 (55) Focus C-Max 2.0 Ghia Automatic PetrolsinceSeptember2009. This site was useful before and after buying our C-Max and great support as we continue to runthecar.
It's nowdone10,000 miles with us (53,000 in total) and going well. Most driving is around town sothempg of 31 is not unexpected (for 2.0 Auto). It will return >40mpg on amotorwayrun.
We have found it's a great family vehicle with no drawbacks. I have had some bad experiences at Ford dealerships though so mostly maintain myself withthehelp ofthelocal independent garage. The main concern now is whether to change the cam-belt as a precaution.

As Kevmond says 150k,but if you do lots/mainly short trips,I`d change it a 100K
I am with mine, but only as a safety move.

Thanks for the information ... I have a 2.0l petrol registered Feb 2006 so it sounds as though I can relax for a while as far asthebelt is concerned. As it's a cam chain I guess the belt I am looking at is for alternator and pump (left side oftheengine).
