Hello from potential new owner!

Hi, I'm currently looking at purchasing a 1.6 TDCi Zetec mk2 on a 10 plate for my better half and wondered if anybody had a good recommendation for a cheap insurance company?

I've seen Adrian Flux on your site and wanted to know if many of you use them and if you've found that they are much cheaper than others? Best quote we've had so far is about 400 fully comp.

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers for that, trawled all the comparison sites and lowest seems to be 380 so far. Will try hastings next.

Hadn't thought to try them so will have a look there too. Getting quite quick at filling all the details in now!

Tesco car insurance has been our best quote for the last 3 years running. Nearest best quote was 60 off. Go direct to their website and it gives better quotes than the comparison sites. The best comparison site I found was Confused.com. Directline and aviva gave terrible quotes.

Cheers for that. I've got the Mrs on the case with Tesco as I believe they give you a 20% discount if you have a club card (which she has)- Sainsburys have a similar offer.

Found Confused, Compare the Meerkat, Money Supermarket all gave same quote of 380. It's a pretty good quote but determined to save a few pennys where possible!

I'll see what result she gets....
