Hello; well got a 2008 1.8 c max zetec. It has got this noise/thump under the accelerator peddle or that is were I feel it. It only happens when I start the car and drive about 50m down the road, when it happens this noise/thump. Then then it gone until you stop the car and turn the car off. Then start and 50m down the road it happens again all the time about the same distance. any ideas as ford dose not know.
Thanks Brad

Petrol or diesel as a first point
I'm presuming petrol as the diesel accelerator pedal ought only to be fixed to the pedal box whilst the petrol presumably has the cable to the throtle butterfly attached

Does it do it around 10mph?
If so, it's the ABS self testing and normal.
Both Diesel and Petrol are fly by wire, thus eliminating throttle pedal.
