Hello again, coming back to ford after about a year away what are peoples thoughts on the 1.8 and 2.0L TDCi C-Maxs around the 2005 year is there much difference fuel consumption, poweretc. Thanks

i would deffo go for 2.0 tdci for , economy, longevity and above all Performance. Amazing power plants !!

As above,2.0 is a far better engine,economy/performance combination more suited to car.
1.8 is an old engine now.

Test drive a1.6TDCi 110- you may be surprised at how well it goes .
I thought that it felt quicker than some 1.8 tdcisI tried.

57 Titanium 1.6 110 DPF, X Sport pack, panoramic roof,Sony 6 CD changer with voice control bluetooth.

When you floor a 2.0tdci in 4th at 50mph be sure your holding on tight........thats all i can say[img]smileys/smiley20.gif[/img]

Thanks for the feed back their seems to be more 2L TDCifor salethan the 1.8 would like to go for a Ghia for the extras. Have around 5k to spend and I dont mind travelling but !! I have to sell my Audi A2 first which hopefully shouldnt be a problem. Once again thanks for your feed back!!!![img]smileys/smiley20.gif[/img]
