Hello,

Don't tell anyone but I've finally switched allegiances from another c-max forum which started going downhill a while ago

So here I am and it's a big shout out to all you fellow c-max owners - what a great car heh - I once read it was the people carrier for people who really wanted a hot hatch!! Hehe and I have to say that ain't far from the truth.

I'm driving a 2l tdci on an 04-plate and it's awesome - especially like the fact the road tax and insurance is much cheaper than my old petrol car and yet the max is so much quicker

Anyway, I've got a question for you c-max folks. My reversing sensors have been playing up since the cold spell we had just after xmas. They always bleep for 5secs on start up and then work intermittently thereafter.

Any bright ideas? Anything I could DIY myself? Failing any solutions does anyone know which fuse I must remove to turn it off and get rid of the flippin noise please - I haven't got an owners manual. And does this fuse control anything else which I'd be inadvertently turning off too?

Anyways, nice to (sort of) meet you and thanks in advance for any answers.

Justy

If you look closely some names will be familiar

The rear parking sensors are fed via the reverse light switch in the gearbox. Are you reversing lights working properly or in the same intermittent fashion?
