Tracy, I do feel sorry for you BUT i would never trust a main dealer (ford) ever again after the experience i had with them when buying my c-max. I feel you have to find a mechanicable todealin ford servicingand maybe parts local to you. Try the yellow pages to find one. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. I dont normally go to a dealer it was just they came in cheapest when I got some quotes. Since I last posted I have been told that they were reported to vosa and were inspected. Te out come is they have taken the car back in and repairs and being done.

I have always found it is best to get a word of mouth recomendation for a good local mechanic, may cost more (but usually is less) but is worth it for the service you get.

Sould be some kind souls on here in your area who can help or you could try gumtree, and look for adverts for local mecanics

I use a local company with a good reputation. They have the accreditation that means that you can take your car for servicing with them, and still maintain your warranty. They are more expensive than a one man band that I have used before, but they have all the kit, including the computer for diagnostics. They pick you up and drop you off too, as they are located on a farm. They are much, much cheaper than Ford Main Dealer and do the job properly.
