Hi all,

First posting here, so it's short & sweet.
Picking up my C - Max next week from my local dealership in Cumbria.

8 months old (59 plate)
1.6 tdci 110
Frozen white
Comms pack
F&R parking sensors

It's the first car that I've bought that's an 'all rounder' for the Wife and I.
Took it out yesterday and love it. Do miss the 6 speed box but found that the 5 speed one fitted to this car does have long ratios, so it cruises nicely in 5th.
Tell you what though, I love the colour even though it's not popular at all.

Cheers

Welcome to the club Pacman looks like you have a very nice car there.

Dont forget to fill in your car details in the signature box in the members control panel so you dont have to type it every time.

OK, just got the car. Here's the pictures, not the best quality on my phone.
Really pleased with it

Cheers Ed.
Things I may change in the near future are -

Wheels - Maybe 17" or 18" but don't want to ruin the nice ride that the 16's give at the moment.
Lights - Definitely fitting the Philips Night Vision upgrades.
Rear wiper - I have the C2 replacement ready to go on

The comms pack works really well. Voice control is smart. I do like the navigation system.
Compared directly to the Tom Tom, it's not as good I admit, but then again, what is.
It is good though, giving clear direction with a host of functions. Can't complain.
The 1.6 is a little short on lowdown grunt, but it's something I'll get used to I expect. There is a noticeable 'lag' from low down revs as the turbo comes in about 1500 revs, so I have had to use a lower gear than I'm used to.
The interior is nice. Not leather, but nice trim all the same. The dash is very clear and I like the silver accents on the clocks (also the fact that the diesel gauge doesn't move much)

Nice to hear from any other owners of the 1.6tdci as well.

Jon.

Yep,very nice looking max you have there.
Defo put the C2 wiper on,I did & it looks sooo much better.
I do hope you like washing your car cos last time I had a white motor,I ended up washing it at least once a week & waxing every 2 weeks.
When I wash/wax my Max these days I always put on some Car Plan Tyre Paint on.It only takes 5 mins to do all 4 tyres & dries within 15 mins.It makes the tyres look brand new & helps protect them.It will look especially nice when on a just washed/waxed white Max.

I really like that.I reckon the 18 inch wheels like my car would look great.
