Question C-Max 2.0tdci 05 Ghia

Hi all,
New to the forum and fords in general not owned one for many years, but have to say really impressed with performance and all the spec it has feels really well built.
Much better than my 1980 XR3 that fell to bits after 6yrs,
not to mention the fiat i traded for my c-max.

However its not totally fault free i need some advice with a running issue.

Starting from cold starts straight up first turn however throttle needs blipping to keep it running seems to miss slightly with masses of white smoke, car still pulls well in all gears no warning lights on although glow plug lights up for about half a second on start.

No smoke when warm but still seems to have a slight missfire lumpy running across the whole rev band seems worse at higher revs but accelerates spot on.

Not checked for codes yet as waiting for a code reader will keep posted any help please...
